GAZA, August 25, 2005 (IPC + WAFA) - - The Al Aqsa Institution to Reconstruct Islamic Holy Sites in Jerusalem warned on Wednesday of a Jewish incitement media campaign to tear down the holy Al Aqsa Mosque to compensate for the evacuation of Israeli settlers from Gaza Strip.

The institution pointed out that several extremist Jewish groups have started distributing two colored flyers in the city of Jerusalem; one showing an Israeli settler surrounded by soldiers during the evacuation from Gaza, and a comment on the picture saying “Evacuation of Gush Katif - Gaza Strip”.

While on the other part of the flyer, a graphically-generated picture of the Dome of the Rock Mosque with a demolished dome next to a large crane tearing down some of the mosque’s adjoining buildings, with a comment reading “Compensation soon at the Temple Mount (Temple of Olives) in Jerusalem”.
