A drunken man has been jailed for kidnapping an 18-year-old girl and raping her five times on a farm outside Dubai.

A Dubai court sentenced the 22-year-old jobless UAE national to two years in jail.

He was arrested after the Pakistani victim reported to the Dubai police that the accused grabbed her on a Dubai street, forced her into his vehicle and drove to a farm he owned outside Dubai, where he raped her.

He then left her alone and drove away, and the girl escaped and went to the nearest police station. Police later arrested the accused at his house in Dubai.
