OK I’ve just rejected a job that offers me a much higher salary+commission+yearly bonus and ticket to my original country not to mention a two days holiday (I only have one day off right now). I don’t regret it because I like my current job and I feel more comfortable in my current job’s environment.

Everybody will be telling me now how stupid I am for turning down such an offer.

  2. The job itself is not bad at all, I was having a hard time adapting to the new environment, the people not the job itself. I like it except that I still don’t have my own desk (and office) and trust me being with two other women in a room is not fun at all :p

  4. I will not be one of those who tell you that you’re “anything” for turning down the job offer. As long as your current job is working for you then stick to it! Good Luck .

  6. I dont knwo if it was the right thing to do or now, but sometimes because we are afraid of change we put other offers down, some people would rather settle for what they have than take a risk somewhere else, I hope that is not the case with you…

  7. No Sabri, that is not the case as I’m not yet accustomed to my new and first by the way job. But the offered job with the higher salary does not appeal to me in terms of the job nature and environment. It’s not what I like to do, it has nothing to do with IT and business. I actually found out that business does not appeal to me unless it has a good purpose and involves the Internet too.
Besides, I felt that working with people who are 25- year old is not as comfortable as one think it will be.
