you’re in control
is there anywhere you wanna go
you’re in control
is there anything you wanna know
the future’s for discovering
the space in which we travel in

from the top of the first page
to the end of the last day
from the start in your own way
you just want
somebody listening to what you say
it doesn’t matter who you are

under the surface trying to break through
decifering the codes in you
I need compas,draw me a map
I’m on the top, I can’t get back
whoa whoa whoah
whoa whoa whoah

the first line in the first page
to the end of the last page
you were looking
from the start in your own way
you just want
somebody listening to what you say
it doesn’t matter who you are
it doesn’t matter who you are

you just want
somebody listening to what you say
oh, you just want
somebody listening to what you say
it doesn’t matter who you are
it doesn’t matter who you are

is there anybody out there who
is lost and hurt and lonely too
they’re bleeding all the colors into one
and a few come undone
as if you’ve been run through
some catapult who fired you
you wonder if your chance will ever come
or if you’re stuck in square one

Saddam’s Trial: Humiliation to Arabs

ً

Trial of Saddam Hussein: Humiliation to Arabs (says the red sign), and bringing justice to Iraqies (written on the judge’s stand)

Watching former Iraqi president Saddam Hussein on Al-Jazeera yesterday I was surprised by the overwhelming emotions that took over me. Saddam was not the same tyrant who committed crimes against Kurds and Shiites, he was an old man whose bad deeds lead him to a trial by his worst enemies, he was a criminal being prosecuted by a lobby that consists of murderes who with no doubt supported him behind the scenes when they thought they have full control over him and when he deemed to be a threat decided to get rid of him, thus teaching every Arab leader a free of charge lesson as to what may happen to them should they display any sign of disobedience.

What I’ve seen is a criminal being prosecuted by the victims’ worst enemies, what I’ve seen is a man who was to many a symbol of heroism, who supported the Palestinian cause and was of great support and help to Jordan in particular.

Saddam must be prosecuted by his people, he must be punished even if only one man’s life ended because of him but not by the US and its allies. The US sent (and will continue sending) a message loud and clear to the people of the ME. He deserved a fair trial by Iraqies not prolonged humiliation by the enemies.

To everyone who thinks it doesn’t matter who prosecutes a tyrant, think of Al Assad being prosecuted by Americans, think of Mubarak too, think of any Arab leader prosecuted by the murderers of thousands of Arabs and Muslims all over the World.
