First UNRWA Hosts and Donors Meeting: UNRWA’s Withdrawal Disengagement Plan

UNRWA cuts many of its services and aids to Palestinian Refugees as a part of a withdrawal plan based on the Gaza Disengagement plan that has supposedly taken place recently. Palestinian Refugees in Gaza Strip demonstrated yesterday protesting the decision while UNRWA said they have high expectations that could not be met due to the challenges it has faced.

We would have supported the withdrawal had been there a real disengagement of Israeli Occupational Forces, but following the daily news, that’s not the case. Air raids on Gaza Strip continued, as if Israel does not want to leave before trying out a couple of new weapons.
